CHRISTIAN VAN ANDEL

Christian Van Andel serves as Associate Director and Outreach Director at the David and Carol Van Andel Family Foundation based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In addition to his role at the Foundation, he holds the position of Ambassador at Amway, promoting a wide array of Amway products, and championing the entrepreneurial legacy established by his grandfather, Jay Van Andel, who co-founded Amway. Christian is deeply committed to raising awareness of his family’s business heritage and is dedicated to fostering a leadership ethos that will endure and flourish for generations to come.

A native of Grand Rapids, Christian is passionate about contributing to the economic development initiatives that his parents, Dave and Carol Van Andel, have played a pivotal role in shaping across the greater West Michigan region. He actively engages in various business ventures that have facilitated the establishment of new enterprises, the growth of existing companies, and the overall advancement of West Michigan’s productivity. Christian is also actively involved in projects supported by the Family Foundation that aim to drive growth and prosperity and provide opportunities among low-income communities within downtown Grand Rapids.

Christian pursued his education at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. In addition to his professional pursuits, he enjoys sports, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
