This weekend, the famous Grand Rapids Hispanic Festival returns to Calder Plaza for two days of fun, food, and a little touch of fútbol.
The AC Grand Rapids Street Team will be on hand both days to help spread the soccer movement, celebrate the vibrant Hispanic community in West Michigan, and provide fans with the chance to buy some cool ACGR gear.
The annual Hispanic Festival—organized by the Hispanic Center of Western Michigan—draws tens of thousands of visitors to downtown GR each year to honor Latin American heritage, music, dance, and cuisine. It is FREE and open to all.
For AC Grand Rapids, West Michigan’s new professional MLS NEXT Pro club launching in 2027 at Amway Stadium, the festival provides a great grassroots event to continue building deep connections with the region’s diverse soccer community.
The ACGR Booth
Festival-goers visiting Calder Plaza can look for the AC Grand Rapids branded tent and come say hi to the ACGR Street Team brand ambassadors. Highlights of the ACGR festival booth include:
- ACGR Retail Popup: From Crest tees and Flow Together dad hats to the Sphere 17 collab Fútbol en la Ciudad del Rio shirt, our retail popup will let you rep your club — and city — wherever you go.
- Club Giveaways: Club-branded stickers, magnets, bottleopeners, and more will be on hand throughout the weekend.
- Signups & Ticket Deposits: Sign up for the ACGR Newsletter to get official club updates and place your season-ticket deposit on the spot to secure your place in line for season tickets next year at Amway Stadium.
- Digital Content: The street team will be capturing the event from the fan’s perspective to go on the ACGR socials.
